One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Once again we rock the world.

Not alot of wind - son not much kites in the sky, but we organize calligraphy competition.

Friends of my held this competition for 6 years and now, after successful bamboo rokkaku project we finally get together to announce calligraphy on kites. More then 50 participants wright on 2x2 sqm paper sheets Japanese Haiku (in russian). after that jury (they also do the same job) pick 10 winners and we add bamboo and fly. totaly 20 rok was made and fly.

That's the story.

Oh. And also first IRBC competition took place too.

Beautiful kites. The creativity is great and some of the calligraphy is outstanding. Did you call it "ZapfGames" after Herman Zapf? I saw some references to his typeface Zapfino in there.

That's awesome! I've always wanted to meet him personally. A living legend of Typography is exactly right. -- and he actively continues his craft even at the of 90!
