Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet. A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites. Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal. 1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

VF12 Outtakes

I spend some time trying to put together a VF entry this past weekend. Out of about an hour of flying, I managed one passable entry. I've also compiled some "cutting room floor" footage from my Virtual Freestyle 12 entry:


Virtual Freestyle 12 Outtakes

Primary flying the Quantum Pro SUL (winds were 0-3) and a little bit of time on the Zephyr.

On the QPro I was using 50# line with the cheapy Prism (non-duos) straps. Since the wind was so light, I alternated between wearing them around my wrists and simply holding them in my hands.

On the Zephyr I was using the duos straps with my pinkies in the finger-loops.

Why do you ask?

It looked at first glance like you were holding something padded and thick, like a solid handle, which I was thinking was crazy for a stunt kite, let alone an SUL.
