One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Ok, so by some dumb maneuver ( kite was on the ground and in my hands) i apparently broke the ferrule in an HQ E Motion. From the ferrule description I've found online, this ferrule is non standard. It fits inside the upper leading edge and over the lower leading edge. So the ferrule is hollow, with a stop at one end. I somehow broke the stop off and it is gone forever so that now the lower leading edge slides right on up into the upper leading edge.
I have no idea where to get this part , if it still exists. I also don't have any really good idea of how to repair without one. Maybe some kind of external stop on the lower leading edge?
     Any ideas? help?

You need a .230 "PING"  (plug in GForce)
Think I have a few ... I'll check in the morning.  If not I can get some (hopefully).
