Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Today was my sons graduation from U of A, Major in Linguistics with minors in Spanish and French

It was a ceremony with only the Social and Behavioral Sciences so there were only 900 students walking.

Had a nice after party, then dinner with his brothers (wife and girl friend included), cousin, and aunt

His plan is to make his way to Brookings and check out Graduate schools in Portland and Seattle, take a year off and then go for his teaching degree.

The really good news is, he has been hired by the French Ministry of Education to teach in the south of France for the next school year. So he wont be living with us for the whole next year.

I want to congratulate all the students, parents, and families of other graduates as well.....GREAT JOB, and good luck in the future

If he's not fluent in French now, he'll be fluent after his time in France. There's nothing like living in another country and having to use it. Six months in Moscow really helped my Russian when I was in college. It's also an experience he'll never forget!
