Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Thanks to the Swap, I was able to get a couple of these awesome kites... Awesome if you enjoy flying in next to no wind and doing flat spinny tricks...

Vanishing Point....

Still looking for one of those ultra-cool black/rainbow designs.  Roll Eyes

Hi Dave!

It's interesting how many PBSKs have passed through my hands, or are ones I've coveted but missed out on. In this thread, one of Lee's used to be mine and another of his used to reside in hawaii and I tried to buy it off it's original owner for years then missed it when it did sell. Dave's purple AZ got my attention at Kite Party a long time ago, and this picture was taken at a more recent KP after Dave had passed the kite on to me. The red Bad Boy was mine temporarily while I overhauled it for the Godfather. That's a nice kite. Skinny SUL frame updated with TAPAs and such.

My trio of white Bad Boys was sold after I stopped competing with them, changed hands a few more times then I bought 'em back a few years later. The green one is now in Germany.

My whole PBSK saga would fill a small book. :-)

Allen, maybe we can entice you to come over the hill and fly with Peter. In fact I believe he's doing the Save the Shores clean up on Saturday (Twin Lakes Beach - at the end of 7th Avenue) from 9-11, planning to maybe even fly a bit, then a free BBQ back at the store for all the volunteers. We would love to see you! Ellen

Although we have never met, Brent Jensen told me so much about both of you, I feel as if we are friends.  Smiley

Awwww... I feel the same way too. We've enjoyed your photos and conversation a lot over the years. Maybe you'll make it over to the coast someday and we can "officially" meet up!
