One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Does anybody have any pictures of the White Bird Fringe Dancers.  I have the Pegasus and am interested in seeing what the others look like - especially the Dawn Bird.

I believe if you look at the 2002 catalog  part2 that I sent you, the pegasus is found on page 1 in the right hand picture.  I believe the seagull is the one you are looking for.

Thanks,Don, but the pictures show dragons.  What I'm looking for looks like a fighter kite with fringe-cut nylon on the trailing edges like this:

Well, I quess that just shows nothing is ever a "complete" listing.  I had no idea they (WB) even made anything like that.  It is beautiful.  Maybe theif will have some idea when and where.  I have seen some stuff with a hawaii lable, but that seems to be after the split of 2002 .

Oh well, gotta love the search!!

The fringe dancers were standard fare from them. Essentially a square hata shape with two sides that are covered with tails. Theyy do pop up on ebay sometimes. I have not seen any documentation on them in a long time.......
