One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The Zephyr is a lot easier to fly, and has a lower wind range. Even though the E3 is rated higher, I wouldn't fly it in wind over 15mph. Mine folded in half right at the center T and ripped the sail in 3 places. I've since reframed it in QPro sticks, and it seems much better, but still doesn't trick as easy as the Zephyr.

I have both and fly Z x10 more than E3. If you buy Zeph check the sewing at the nose where the Mylar is supposed to be sewn into the nose cap-mine wasn't and will have to be fixed.

Sounds like you'd be happier with a Zephyr.

have you considered a SilverFox 2.3 UL (ultra light) - which like the zephyr is more of a "light standard".

IMHO it flies better than the zephyr in the french style.

cheers

But is it as durable as the Zephyr ? That's one thing about Prism kites, they sure take a beating... I also think the Zephyr has a wider wind range...

The E3 is a great kite but overall the Z takes it.
I also have a Silverfox 2.5 UL and i find it has a lower wind window than the Z.
I def recommend the 2.5 for any beginner! Its big and slow, very forgiving for someone who is just starting. As far as the quality mine has been great!
I have heard gettin parts through flying wings can be a nightmare though:(
