One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I've had a Hybrid 200 on order since April 1st, keep hearing, "two weeks out"....blah, going on almost three months now. What's going on there? Anybody?

ordered a long way home in a special color, it arrived in seattle 20 days later...i'm sure with the hq version, he is at the mercy of hq's production schedule

true that, I suppose I mis-stated myself, should have said what's up with HQ? Either way, 3 months is getting to be a bit of a wait. Thanks guys.

It happens from time to time....

A couple of years ago, I ordered an HQ kite on March 26th.   It finally arrived at the store on September 13th  (yes, I have a bit of bulldog in me), and I got an email asking if I still wanted the kite.

If you absotively want the Hybrid for the lighter Summer winds, you might have to cancel your order and check around to see if anyone has existing stock, otherwise, it comes when it comes.

In my case, it was an oddball kite, and no one else had one in stock (it was released that year) so I was content to leave the order active and let the chip fall where they may.

yeah, I'm more like you Sam, it comes when it comes, just wanting to fly ya know, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise however, since winds here in the Ozarks haven't gone much below gale force for.....forever seems like. Kite rule #2 (or is it #3.5?), whatever kite you get, the winds don't cooperate.
