One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

just tried to buy a manta online. mozilla listed them as unsafe and wouldnt let me proceed. WTF

You might have to buy used.

Focus kites is "in transition".

The 2 major players have gone their mostly separate ways.

It's not a secret and it has been discussed before.

Hunter Brown and Paul de Bakker have separate jobs in different states IIRC.

Heads Up Kites was going to be doing the sails and one of the 2 would then finish the kite.

At least the Manta is not available at this time.

Website updates have stalled.

Lead times are long if available at all.

Sorry if I riled your feathers kiteclique. I thought you knew more than the rest of us and would answer the question better than I ever could.  Smiley

I heard from Hunter Brown this week.

Focus are not accepting orders. There'll be a website/blog update regarding this "shortly".
