Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Indeed way to long.

And yes according to Marc, this is the final 15, there won't be anymore new ones.

Got to fly it today!

What a strange beasty, very different and somehow familiar. Definitely likes 2 and 4 liner inputs at the same time.

Looks beautiful in the sunny sky, and not a single bad looking angle at all. What an attention grabber it is. Had other fliers fan over it non stop...

Yeah..a deca always looks sweet and weird at the same time....

some notes:
  • if you pull the top lines too far forward the kite will flop down face first onto the lines and settle down to the ground...very little recovery...
  • if you take a step forward and pop both of the handles down and backwards quickly the kite will roll up..a quick double snap will pull it back out as well...
  • the kite is on the ground face first pop both of the handles down and backwards VERY sharp and take a quick step forward...it should rotate quickly back into normal flying position.
  • Shorter lines are key....i would not fly it longer than 70' lines....
  • the handles are designed to be held in the middle-not the top like a rev's....that is because the decas are curved..and already have the angle of attack to the wind created by the curved sail-whereas a rev is essentially flat and needs the top to be closer to you than the bottom to fly...
  • decas can do axels and such..takes practice.....
Enjoy it Andre that is a sweet kite you got!
