Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Ro Ro but on a heck a grand kite festival.  I had a fantastic time, winds were perfect for me, (but I'm from the land of no-wind).  Spent the better part of 3 days with the Liberty gang and I can't wait to go back again!  Flew everything from a zen to mid-vent Revolution, individually, in pairs and team settings.

I went on Saturday and the wind was better than I expected. I got the Nirvana WW out about 8:30ish and had enough wind to fly even though it was really light. It started to pick up and went from UL to standard wind speeds by 11ish or 12. The wind was coming through the trees so it wasn't optimal. It's better if it's off the water but I didn't hang around for that. I drank almost two liters of water by noon and I finally couldn't stand the heat any longer and went home.

I have to give everyone credit who can stand the heat and do the job to keep the competition rolling. Special credit goes to the people in the field who are doing the judging. It gets HOT out there! When I got home the thermometer was about 90.
