Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Lower end kites made at the main factory.

Top end sport kites made by a different group of people to a higher standard.

Actually, the Quantum Pro and Prediction are, or have been, both Team Kites flown by top notch fliers.

Bottom line for me is that Mark and his company are amazing.  I'm glad he's part of the kite world.

Interesting side note on the Elixir and Gem.   I had a Gem bridal on my SUL Elixi and it really helped to make the backspin easier.  Unfortunately, my kite bag and SUL Elixir were stolen.  Cry.

JW, when the heat is over, come take a vacation in Las Vegas. Bring a +1 too.

I know where there is an Elixir that you could hopefully teach to fly and trick better.  Wink

Damn thats a shame.  Do you remember the specs on that SUL elixir?  I'd like to reframe one of my elixirs into an sul just to see how it flies.

John, is the heat ever over in Las Vegas? Lows in the 90's....

That is a sweet looking Elixir you've got. Is that a Berkeley special?

I want to fly your TT UL when we come down.
