Any info on Dodd's Cross Fire?  On a scale of 1 to 10, how quiet - noisy is it? How does it stack up in relation to other kites in the same price range?

Just an interest!

There are 2 Cross Fire kites.

The basic Cross Fire sells for about $140.
3 pictures start at the hyperlinked photo below:

I briefly flew the Cross Fire in low winds. It was not noisy at all, but the winds were less than 5 mph. I like all 3 of the large Skydog sport kites: Cross Fire, Sweet Emotion, and the Dream On.

The Dream On is the lowest in cost, but flies the best of the 3. As you go up in price in the Skydog line, the kites fly worse, but trick much better.

For the money, you get a competent, full sized kite.

The Cross Fire Comp is a higher cost version. I have not flown it.

As always, we who use the forum can count on you for well thought out answers to our questions.  You help all of us to better understand what all of these kites are about. Thank you.

I see that Kitelife is raffling off a Cross Fire and that has raised my interest in the kite, but I will look at the others which you mentioned. Maybe Steve will have these.

Thanks again,
