Newbie Update

Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I really wanted to head to the BKF this weekend but a few things came up and blah, missed it.  I bought a used Prism Quantum and been practicing for the past 2-3 weeks and I'm starting to get the hang of dual lining.  I can save some crashes and experimenting with some stalling and landings.  Overall, I really enjoy this sport/recreation and intend to continue on quite a bit.

The single-line stowaway has been really nice, however, I think I should have taken some of your advice and went with a parafoil because of the long tail and seems like it would look really magnificent in the sky.  I could always get some tails for the stowaway.

'til then I will continue to lurk here and practice/master the techniques.
