One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I need to get my hands on some nose fabric. I don't know exactly what the fabric would be called or what exactly it is...  Roll Eyes any help would be greatly appreciated. If Steve here has it I couldn't find it. I did find the seat belt fabric... but I would prefer to actually get the actual fabric/material that is used on the kite.

Thanks
Shane

I found this stuff and for some reason just didn't think it was the right stuff... it doesn't seem to be the same material that is on the nose of my talon... However, I am no kite builder and know much less than all you guys do... I will just pick this up the next time I'm in need. thanks for the help

i believe what's on the talon would be cordura fabric (though i don't know what denier), which is what soft sided suitcases are made from, but you could always send mark c. an email and find out for sure.

never hurts to have a small selection of materials in a box though for the times you can't anticipate needing them, but have them when you do as they're all pretty much specialty mail-order materials.
