Hi to all
wondering which kite: with deep turtle or kite with not so deep turtle position is better for learning tricks.
With other words Sea Devil has not so deep but
Fearless with deep turtle position.
thanks
smooth winds

PS
I fly moustly SD stand- feels very neutral and I still need a lot of trick to learn with it...  WILL KITE WITH DEEPER  turtle (as Fearess) make stuff harder for learning or I'm on good way with SD std.

Sea Devils are great. If you want turtle-based tricks to be giveaways, you will like Transfers, Cosmics, and probably the Fearless.

However, I think the SD is one of the best all around kites EVER made. Most of what you learn on the SD will apply well to most other kites.  That might be not so true for the kites mentioned above.

Get more SDs to expand your wind range IMHO.

Thanks for answer
I think, is the for best kite-flyer which learning tricks, is to stick to one kite and learn tricks one by one...
Any changing kites will back it few steps behind.
And when You master one kite very good mixing kite will be much easer.
Thats my thining...
I pick Sea Devil Std to teach me. I think it is a good choice for learning trick and enjoy kite flying...
smooth winds...

One tip for you:

The SDs need to be put into the turtle.  They do not fall in.  You can get a deep turtle on the SD, but you really need to give it faster slack so that it hits the bottom.  Otherwise, the SD tends to float a little shallow where tension simply lifts it back out.  To rotate from here, you also need to time your spin input to coincide with the point when the kite hits the bottom of th turtle position.

But if you really put it in the turtle, it does great lazy rotations.  It does need slack to complete the rotation and remain in the turtle.

Jacobs ladders on the SD are just divine.
