Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Nothing beats something you've made yourself but for commercial kites - Exile, DS, Mantis, UL Midi 98 (fell in love again the other week), Machine if I fancy a workout.

Only kite I yearn for at the moment is the Talon UL. Cool

Depending on the wind conditions,

Lite wind  =  Griffin 3or4 stack

Medium wind =  Quantum 4 stack

as the wind increases,  Nexus 7 stack

Catalyst 5 stack

Exile standard, but I've never flown a Talon or Fearless either,  for the present, it's the Exile.

Well it depends on the wind for me.

SUL = Fearless SUL, of course

UL = Mohawk XS UL or my Nirvana UL

And Standards = Widow Maker, Over & I'm trying to fly my Nirvana FX too if there's some wind. If I ever get some smoother wind, I'll break out the Deep Space Smiley

The wind has been horrible so far this year... bummer.

My old PBSK Stiletto is my all time favorite. With more than 8 years of flying it's getting a bit ragged, but  I still get a big dose of aoxomoxoa when I spend time with it.

Currently my favorite kite is the Widow Maker. Seems to be the one I pull out of the bag the most.

See ya,

Widowmaker is number 1 for me too over the widest range of winds, the Exile & Muse follow closely but they will get retired sooner in favor of the Widowmaker as the winds increase or decrease. When the winds are steady over 8-10 mph up to 20 I'll reach for the Freestylist or Wolf.

If only one kite......Talon Standard.

Until recently I may well have said the UL but I had such a great fly the other day with the Standard.
