Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

rx,
I notice the B series comes with two framesets, but everybody likes race rods.  Do you still need two frames with race rods? Is it just a lighter, stiffer rod?  Not really sure what race rods are about.  off topic I know, but since he said race rods.....

carry on...

You will need 3 Wrap and 4 Wrap rods for when the wind really picks up. The Race Rods are lighter and offer more flex, while maintaining more strength than the 2 Wrap.

the race rods make the 2 wraps obsolete imo and I only use the 4 wraps in the full vent when the winds are cranking, rest of the time race rods

What kiten00b said.

Race rods can take the place of 2-wrap and 3-wrap frames. Only when the winds are consistently above 18mph or so in the vented will I switch out (to a 4-wrap frame) because the kite starts to feel too noodley.
