One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

picked one up for a later-on project and am undecided as to framing.  considering either .472 or .500 pultruded carbon. I figure most of the fittings will be reinforced vinyl tubing.  Thoughts/suggestions ??

.500 is in the Force 10.  Heavy but effective.

I have made a few inquiries about spars, and a frame of P8's was suggested and the kite be flown as an ultralight.  Seems a bit of a contradiction to me..... the .500 pultruded carbon seems 'right' for a sail that size.    I enjoy the Force 10, also the Mystic.  I'm no expert but to me the Force 10 seems to fly better than the Mystic.
