meta data and winblows media player

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I use windows media player for music on this computer.  So thanks to a winblows update it managed to turn all of my "date added" data to todays date :'(
I've searched the web looking for something to bring it back with no success but i did find a program called Windows Media Player Metadata Backup for Audio. It makes backups and can restore the meta data of your music; how many times it was played, when it was added, etc.
Figured i would pass it along(yeh it looks like its older but is kept updated and works):

When editing any metadata (name, show, year, artwork, season #, etc...) in get info for songs, movies, TV shows or audio books iTunes freezes and gives me the rotating colored sphere of eternal doom.
If I leave it alone for a long time then iTunes eventually completes the action I wanted.
