Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi this Wayne.
I joined the forum as I started flying sport kites again.
I started flying years ago and have a collection of old school kites from TOTL among others.
I've been flying and building single line kite for the last 10 years.

As and old school fllyer I was never able to do tricks no matter how much I watched the videos. Cry

I am now learning how to trick with help from the flying club in Vegas. Getting specfic feedback has been the key.

Thanks, to local forum members, Chilese, Gamelord and Fidelio who have help me.
Looking forward developing my skills.....  and collecting a few more kites. Smiley

Wayne, welcome to the forum.  We missed you last night, but that might be a good thing.  The wind was bad.

heya wayne, if you're shooting for every two weeks you may wish to skip this next week as the antelope island fest is going on in salt lake and chilese and gamelord are going up there for sure.

while the dual liners may be thin next week there will still be a group of folks there, but i'd imagine you'll have your pick of field position.

in any case, looking forward to seeing you at the park again. would love to see some of the single liners you have should the wind play along.

we did miss you last night, but as mark said, the wind was light, and when it stopped it was quite muggy. the people still made it fun though.

Welcome Wayne,

As Darren said, we are all going to be heading up to the Antelope Island Fest up in Utah this next weekend so you will have plenty of room at the park to fly.  The normal gang should still be there though.

We'll all be there next week though, hopefully we can fly together again then.
