One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

There will be a new festival this year in Washington, MO, at the Fairgrounds, on Saturday, Oct 22!  Sport kite demos, single line kites, candy drop, kids kitemaking, maybe a Rok battle!  The event will be a benefit to help with construction of a new, All-Abilities park in town. More details will be forthcoming soon.
Let me know if you'd like more info!

I was able to surprise Donna in Washington, MO. last Saturday. It was a beautiful day and it was a great-big field, the wind was a little lite while I was there (until 2pm), but I did get some flying in. A couple of families showed up early to make kites. I got a email from Donna that said the Jaycees thought it went well, and plan for a bigger festival next year.
