Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Is anyone else having trouble logging into the forum using Gingerbread?
I didn't have any problems when I was running Froyo. Now it tells me my user name doesn't exist. Unless I try to register, then it tells me my name is in use.

I couldn't get anywhere with the android browser.  Firefox mobile worked but was real slow. Opera seems to be working alright.

Dolphin Browser HD, never had a problem with it, I'm not on 2.3, still 2.2, But then I've also never had a problem with the stock Google Browser,

The number one reason I went with Dolphin was the Flash on Demand feature (i don't see them talking about that now though), it doesn't run Flash unless you ask it to, keeps pages loading quickly, then if you need to load the flash portion you can. Plus tabbed browsing was another big plus over the Google browser.

The most useful feature though after using it for a year and half is the plugin so it doesn't ID itself as a portable device, that way you can get the full version of websites rather then only being able to see the mobile version.

And I like Purple (stock is green but easily foxed).

At the time it was the best browser available, Opera was out and stunk, Firefox was not available back then so I've never tried it. Dolphin still gets good reviews, way better then Firefox & Opera.

Thanks Steve. It seems to be the browser. Opera worked but kept locking up. I'm trying Dolphin HD now.
