Hi to all
I have extra nice feel with Sea Devil std. and I feel so confidence when I fly it. It is so neutral and forgiving....and it has wide wind range...
I can cascade it with hours but I'm stucked with comete trick... Hope I will learn it... I'm wathching on tutoral on Youtube how to learn it.....

In which category You would put Sea Devil Std- it would be kite for easyer comete learning or harder comparing with other modern kites??? From You experience....
I didn't have a chance to try other kites like You mously did and to compare!

Other tricks which I learn on SD are very nice, fluid and not hard to learn.
SD can made trick enought slow what gives me time to think for my next move.

Very greatfull kite and design,

Cometes on the SD are actually quite nice. The SD doesn't have a deep, locking backflip and this helps in the backflip part of the comete.
Just remember all you're doing with your other (non popping) hand is to keep the kite from going al the way into the flare or backflip. So no pop, just a tug to stop de kites rotation.

SD does great cometes.  Keep in mind that in wind where you can cascade without movement, you will need to walk backwards or back peddle to keep the kite powered up during each rotation in the comete.  I actually learned the comete first coming out of a half axel cascade.  It's a great transition once you figure it out.

I can still remember the day (first year of flying) when I asked Lars if he could try the comete on the SD.  He walked over, flew a taz machine, right turn straight up to the top, and then comete cascaded all the way down to a tip stand.  After that, he just offered me the lines again and said, "Seems OK".

Thanks a lot.
practice practice and practice...Need to practice comete...
I was on the holiday flying on wonderfull beach .
Wind constant and nice. Sea Devil was extra good.
I put many times  SD in long..................
I could keep it more then 5 min in fade. But not to strugle with kite to keep it in fade. Just to enjoy in it stability. Many people talk with me about kite and skils how to learn.
But I think it was compicate to explain and even harder to them to understand.
And on the end talk my words were always practice practice practice....
as I need to go on to practice comete.
I spend wonderfull time with SD. SD is very nice kite and very greatfull in air.

Very nice feel to find kite which is best connect to Your flying stile.
For me it is SD style.

then You will  give best from Your skils and Your kite into uniqe flight

all best...
