One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Thanks, I enjoy pics of the European festivals, always a nice mix of historical kites & new ideas. I liked the family shots thrown in too. Looks like a great couple of days.

Great pictures! I love the SLKs! My mother-in-law is from there. Her family emigrated after the war in '47. My wife got tired of hearing how easy it is in America compared to Holland during the war. My wife's mom saw Nazis line up a group of people and shoot them because of the resistance activities. She was probably 10 at the time. Her brother missed getting bombed by the allies when he skipped school one day and a bomb destroyed the school.

She's 78 and hasn't been back since the 70s. It might be nice to get to the festival with her before it's too late.
