Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Just curious if there are any other stunt kiters around the area.  I've never seen anyone flying a stunt kite in my particular area, Sandpoint, Idaho.  I'm a total beginner, but love it.

I've been watching this post for the last few days hoping that you'd get a response.  It seems there is very few fliers in your area, which seems odd...or, they are just not active on the forums.  One of the nice things about a set of forums such as this is that even when no one near you kites, you can share your successes and frustrations here and get some encouraging feedback.

keep us updated,

Yeah, I'm a little surprised, since Spokane, Washington, a reasonably large city,  is about 70 miles away, and the terrain east of Spokane is acres and acres of clear farm land with what seems to be pretty consistent winds, at least whenever I drive through.  But I've lived in Sandpoint, Idaho since 1973, and I've never seen anyone flying a stunt kite.  I saw my first one this last month when I visited the Oregon coast.

There used to be both a kite shop and a kite club in Spokane.  The shop closed 2-3 years ago, don't know about the kite flyers.
