Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi.  I shot about two hours of video last weekend and would up with about 6 1/2 minutes of decent video.

So yeah, just a warning - 6:30 video. No comets or crazy stuff, but I had a good time.

Holy moly, those are some short strings.

Your kite almost seemed trapped near the ground.

The wind gets better that higher you go, and if you can't get higher than 20' from the ground....

Looks like you had a great time... and it seems you have learned alot this summer. If I remember correctly you posted a video the begining of the summer and most of it was just flying and not much tricking. this one has some nice tricks in it.

.. I am far from a pro but I think I may have some advice for ya... something that also had to be told to me before I noticed that i needed it... Try to keep your hands by your sides while flying and tricking. and when you have to throw them forward to give the kite slack move your body forward so you can immediately bring them back to your sides... just a suggestion. ... Anyway, Nice flying and keep them coming.

Thanks!  Yeah, I think I definitely made some progress this summer - more than I have in previous summers, at least.

I really need to work on my arm movements.  I have a transposed ulnar nerve from some reconstructive elbow surgery a few years ago and all the wild movements are causing some serious inflammation in there, I think.  There's gotta be a more efficient way than what I'm doing.
