One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Pacific North West, specifically the Seattle area but Lincoln City, Oregon to Vancouver, British Colombia. I guess now that kiteking (Mike) is in Brookings that moves the percentage down another 200 miles.

Kudo's to David Gomberg in that area for his current efforts to get or keep retail shops open along the Oregon Coast and getting the beaches filled with kites every weekend. The old Catch the Wind shops there grew kiting the same way back in the late 80s early 90s. David seems to be picking up that torch for a run and we wish him the best.

Seattle "Area", big area up there, probably a better term for it you guys use, like we say Bay Area which includes 4 or 5 counties and 100's of communities.

I'm going to say the Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia nexus of kite flying.

There are an awful lot of kite fliers down that way.
