Very new to the forum, own a dual-line stunt kite and considering purchasing a quad-line.  Interested to know if any forum members are in/near Philadelphia, PA:

1) where do you fly? (I saw suggestions for Belmont Plateau and the Delaware river end of Pennypack Park)
2) Is there a local meetup that you regularly attend?
3) would you be willing to let me watch/try flying your quad and offer advice about choosing a Rev?

Thanks very much in advance.  Skimming the forum, looks like a great place to learn more about this addictive hobby, and the posts I've seen confirm that you guys are a great community and are always eager to give useful advice.

I would highly suggest hitting the Revolution (Quad-line) forum:

I'm sure you'll get plenty of response as there are several great fliers in your area!

Have fun and welcome to the "Dark-Side"... (They'll explain!) ...It's a WINDerFULL Obsession!!!!

Good tip - should have thought of that earlier.  Signed up and was able to browse the members by location.  Looks like there are a couple in the area.

Thanks!

Email me at jabel004@gmail.com. I live in lancaster but am starting a job remodeling/adding on to the Bala Cynwyd library for the next year. I'll be onsite beginning Feb 8. I'd be happy to let you fly with me, we can always use another one for "the darkside" Wink

By the way, check out my post today, trying to get a Rev clinic together in OCMD in April with John Baressi; good learning experience

I knew someone who used to fly at Pennypack. I don't know if he still flies or not.

Was just up there for a work trip.   Flew for a few hours at Belmont Plateau but the wind was swirling  and a little quirky.  (Welcome to Philly...)
It was nice.
