I was flying the other day and somehow lost the ferrule that connects the two lower spreaders together. I've tried finding a replacement online but can only find a male spreader (spreader and ferrule together I'm assuming). Does anyone have a link of where I can just buy a ferrule? It's for a Prism Zephyr. Thanks.

Most of the kite shops listed on the right sell the .240 furrule.  I have gotten them from wind of change and skyburner's shop. " It's a link on skyburner home page."

Also remove both lower spreaders and look inside.  Many times the furrule goes into the rod and is just out of sight.

The Zephyr has SS 3pt Lower Spreaders so i guess the ferrule is not in the tube. Probably the superglue dissolved when the kite got wet/moist.
You can use the normal skyshark ferrules. Just make sure you get the longer version (10cm). The shorter version is normally used in the LE.

Remember when you fit the new ferrule don't just glue it in half the length of the ferrule!!

You need to take the centre T fitting into account ( usually about 10mm) so on a 10cm ferrule (100mm) you would have 45mm glued into the spreader and 55mm showing   ( 45mm glued in - 10mm for the Centre T - 45mm to slide the other spreader onto).

If you just glue it half way you will have more weight on one side of the kite and it will effect the performance.

(Been there, done that! Sad )

Thanks everyone. I guess the issue was that I was looking for a ferrule specific to the Zephyr and didn't realize it is a generic replacement. I got a couple ordered. Appreciate the quick responses!

Another quick question. While I'm ordering I figured I would pick up some nock ends so I have them if I break mine. Are these the correct nock ends for the Zephyr?

Yes, I believe they are the nocks for the Zephyr.
So long as you use end caps over the nocks, you'd be very unlucky to break one.  - It's more likely to loose an end-cap. - I guess you have that possibility covered.

The stock nocks on the early zephyrs were rubbish and prone to breaking
