One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Am about to buy this pair of Ron Martinelli (Martenelle?) kites off thief:

Does anyone know anything about these kites? When were they made? Does this specific model have a name?

Bumping this up again, as the kites are now winging their way to me across the Atlantic. Anyone know more about what they are?

I have a stack of Hurricane kites and they look very close to the Martenelle kites.  Got them from a friend. Don't know much about them

Here is a video of them flying.
