It is not a surprise to any of you that Ken McNeill is my favorite kitemaker (over 5000 kites made).
Bambi and I own about 20 KMac dualies (although one was an Aerie licensed kite and not made by him).
Bambi's favorite flying kite is the broadseamed AirFX.
My favorite flying kite is the broadseamed Mojo.
The only kite I ever made (mostly) is my friendship Mojo UL.
One of my most cherished kiting moments was flying pairs with Ken on the only 2 Vented AirFX kites I've ever seen or heard of. That man can fly pairs amazingly well. He led, I attempted to follow. Although we did manage 1 shoulder to shoulder death spiral windup and unwind that was visually stunning.
In memory of Aerie Kiteworks and Blue Moon Kites, all the KMac photos on our Picasa albums have been copied and moved into a new standalone album. There will be more photos added as the final Mojos arrive in Las Vegas.
Ken, I wish you well.
Album starts here (many photos taken back in the days of 1MP Nikon 900s):
