One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Burton Applebutter festival in burton, ohio Oct 8th and 9th
Info:http://geaugahistorical.org/index.cfm
OSEK will flying again there this year. No real formal flying area, we generally hang out on the back side of the historic village. Lots to do for the non-fliers, bands, crafts, food, cider and of course apple butter. You can watch them stir the kettles or take your turn. They also have had hot air balloon launches the past couple of years.

Great weather today! Good to see everyone! Wind was light and seemed to come and go. I was told later there were more vendors around the square in town, maybe that is where your apple dumplings were, Ben. Bbq was good and the amish fruit pies were yummy! We are headed back tomorrow
