« Reply #1 on: August 13, 2012, 06:22 AM »'s starting to look like a re run of the Chrome fiasco - there have been a few short videos and one or two reviews but for the vast majority of potential buyers nothing. I've been checking the UK kite shops since March - orginally it supposed to be available April-May - but so far not a mention. I did see a few US sites advertising it earlier in the year as due in soon  but I don't know if any have arrived. Shame, it looked a nice kite. What are HQ up to these days?  Sad

Age and cunning will always overcome youth and skill!

In the bag - HQ Shadow, Prism 4D, Flying Wings Soul Mid Vent, HQ Jive (1), Spiderkites Zodarion, 'Paw' modded HQ Maestro ll, HQ Delta Hawk.

I noticed a new video appeared not too long ago

HQ Crackerjack

and the Close Encounters team clearly have managed to get hold of a couple according to their home page

There are several German kite websites which show it as being available but I haven't seen one "in the flesh" anywhere yet...

Close Encounters definitely have a pair of them; I saw them fly their Crackerjacks at Weymouth. Their routine is purely precision-based, and the Crackerjacks performed fine in that regard.

They are available now in the USA. Contact your local retailer  Wink or just email Steve.

My German review...sorry, too lazy wright now to translate...maybe later  Roll Eyes

Off Topic
