One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

You might do better than "Le Virus" and build yourself a "Le Quartz" from the same designer.
The latter one improves on an already good kite!

Is Le Quartz an improved Le Virus or an all new design?

Le Quartz is the logical follow up after Le Virus.
The sail isn't that different, but more cut out at the bottom.
Christian made the Karma and the Diablis, being one precision and one extreme kite.
The Diablis was just a bit too extreme and the rights were sold to R-sky.
So Christian started again from his Virus concept and came to Le Quartz.

Meanwhile, he took the kite a step beyond that and made a new one: L'Organic
He's working fast, isn't he?
Anyway, Le Quartz is a kite that can be build cheap and flies very well, far better than lot's of commercial distributed kites.
We kept it easy to build, so with the help of Christian we reduced the number of sail panels, without sacrificing anything  :-)
