One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

psychos are my favorite, Got one modded and another not  both with one piece leading edges.
I kept a copy of "psycho therapy" from the old forum and maybe hidden on here as well. Tames it down quite a bit.
monster winds 20+ i abuse an alien or a micron; blink and you 'll miss anything either do in that wind.
Also have a jetstream speed which is like a blur in big wind but speed is its only redeeming factor.
I also have an area 51 but rarely fly it.

mistakes become costly in big wind and random "spectators" scare me Huh

Having recently added a Psycho to the bag, I will have to try that one in high wind.  It's my sons kite actually - he won it a bet where the owner (a well known NW flyer) challenged him 'if you can comete it, then it's yours'.  He did.

Fearless Vented Light. It's not only the best vented trick kite I ever flown but quite possibly the best trick kite I've ever flown.

I am very surprised that no one has mentioned the incomparable Talon Vent-a wonderful kite that is remarkably similar in character to its Std sibling. It keeps me happily flying and tricking when winds are uncomfortable for Std. I have not yet tried any of Lam's vented versions but have seen them in action and been quite impressed.

I miss flying my Fearless vented light, it had the widest wind range of all the kites in my bag, and flew the same in high & low winds. You'd never know it was vented until you needed the vents in winds over 10mph.

Also worth mentioning... the vented Nebula by Four Winds. Another kite that flies just like a standard, but in higher winds. It also did pretty well in standard winds.

Vented Talon....NICE!

Another one that I always liked was the Vented Silver Fox 2.5.  Quite the fantastic kite.

Another vote for the Talon Vented. Flies like a heavy standard, and looks good too!
