Exel pultruded?

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Anyone know of a US source for Exel carbon pultruded spars?  Specifically Exel cruise-8's, 75cm in length.

..or if not, something interchangeable  (I see Goodwinds has some that may work).  Long story, but I was out earlier with the latest speedkite and apparently did a tip stab a little too hard.  Winds are fairly insane today.    Probably 25-30 gusting to 40 mph I would estimate.

I've emailed Steve to see if he has anything that might work too.

it would probably behoove you to order a boxful from the UK....
we used to have that issue with the kites from Ramlal....his exel rods int eh Sentinelle and Oiseau were around 5' long....we finally got a box of them in to we could then supply the rest of the states with them....

Anyone you know getting a JOE or Benson kite as of late???

Ah, true but I fear shipping may be a killer on that.  So far I haven't seen any under 7 euros each, ouch.  A box would probably exceed the cost of the kite.
