Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

on revolution kites
I always replace the bridle and add magic sticks immediately upon receipt.  If you know how you like 'em set-up, it's foolish to wait around.  I don't want the kite held by the bridle I want it arc-welded in place!  I expect a down-wind field recovery glide of 300% when released from an inverted position.

On SUL Revs,
I cut the vertical spar down by an inch, so the bottom of the sail is flush with the spar end.  I also use a tapered spar, (Black Diamond 3PT or equal).  I reinforce the back of the sail where the fitting from the magic sticks touches the fabric.

I've wet the bridle's knots with black nail polish to lock 'em in place on occasion as well

I had a problem with my Elixir bridle (lower outhaul) wrapping around the outer standoff connector.
So, I ran a piece of fishing line from the wingtip nock to the standoff connector.  No more of those tangles.

Also, add another vote for Plasti-dip on kite noses. Nearly all of my kites have it.

Steady winds, y'all.
