Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

So how is everyone doing?.Hope you all have a great Holiday. Its been a wierd 9 months.I havent picked up a kite since Kite Party.About a week or so after Kite Party i felt a twinge in my right foot didnt think anything about it but i had pain that got worse by the day.Hoping it would go away i didnt do anything but try to stay off it thinking it was a pulled something. Finally it was too much to deal with so off to the foot dr i went.Diagnosis was plantar fasitis{sp} so taped up dr gave me different streching excersises to do then rehab for 5 months every week. Then on top of all that wife fell down the stairs at the house{just bruised even though 12 steps on the back porch thank god} so finally i turned my old 2 story into a rental fixed the steps so they were not so steep and we bought a new 2300 sq ft custom rambler on 2.3 acres.so  we have been here for a few months now and we are getting decorated for the holidays..My foot feels good im done with rehab and i feel ready to get back out on the kite field.Only problem is since i wasnt really active i gained a few lbs but they are slowly coming off now.I;m going to be a lean mean kiteflyer in no time..So everyone have a great holiday i;ll see ya at Kite Party i am bringing our whole family this year.I posted way back of a new kite team that i put together team thunderstruck but the rest of the guys lost interest so out the door with that idea..

Well I still hold that kiteflying is a great low impact exercise. Except for all those tempting goodies right now during the holiday season you shouldn't have much trouble dropping a few lbs. Glad to hear your doing well.
