One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Folks,

I've recently sold a few kites.  In the past, I've been completely happy to see a kite move on to someone who really wants it, but a little pang of pain (maybe guilt) went with the last few that I've shipped out.  I'll get over it and I certainly will put the $ to good use on other kites, but they were flat-out excellent kites that just happened to be a wee bit less excellent (sometimes due to color only) than those that I've kept.

So, if you had to sell one kite out of your bag, which would it be?

The only thing in my bag that's not a TNT is my Deep Space. I'm afraid if it came down to it, it would be the one that got evicted.

Welp... that ones hard to answer.  Cry
I'd probably say out of everything in my A bag it'd be the Ocius Standard. I love the UL a lot of fly the SUL with Joe (vertigo) so that's the one that'd get left out.

Life and other hobbies are pulling me in other directions.  Been on the fence the last month or so about selling my QPro set. I did sell a bunch of other kites and still have a few to go.
At some point the time comes to decide what to keep and what to get ride of.
The Illusion, Ozone, and pink QPro will be in the bag for a long time.

Yeah, A bag is hard to choose from.  I usually pick from the B, C, D & E bags when selling a kite.  Wink

 Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy
I have never sold a kite, just keep adding bags. I have A, B & C bags.

Looks like I need to add a couple more bag full of kite before I sell my first one.  Grin

Tom...I hope your not referring to the nirvana haha  Grin If I ever decide to sell it you def have dibs!

As far as what kite I would sell ...just the thought of selling a kite breaks my heart, even the ones I never fly. I might think about selling a kite but as soon as its set up and I look at it the thought dissapears! But for the sake of arguement I HAD to sell one kite it would prob be my snapshot 2.5. Its nice to have something different around...but i NEVER fly it...too much like work haha

And an excellent choice from this century Mr. Brown.  Smiley

The last time I was told by Bambi to give a kite to some friends, I only had my A bag. And ended up giving them a Tracer UL I had just purchased.  Cry Cry

Oddly, 7 years later, that same couple returned the kite, as they weren't going to be able to fly it where they had recently moved.

Lately, my A-Bag has gone Old Skool.
Only flying one kite designed in this century.  Undecided

Great choice! I love mine even though it is starting to look a bit tired.
