Kite identification

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi, I've picked up a number of classic kites from someone and am having trouble identifying these two.

Any of our resident experts have some insight?

The second one is obviously a Dean Jordan handmade, but I'm not sure what model.

What is the wingspan of the other kite?

The arrows kite is a Big Dipper or Little Dipper depending on the size:




I am happy to see that you appreciate the classics. They are both nice flying kites. Axels are excellent as one would expect.

The arrow kite I have is about half that size... Any ideas?

Also, the Jordan is handsigned by Dean "Spec 996", it's just slightly bigger than a 3D.

some of the specs were made with a bridle leg that went down to the wing tip as well.....never clicked with that kite....

  Corey Jensen wound know for sure, he was a big fan of the Dippers when they came out. The Spec is kind of like a mini Jordan Millenium which makes it kind of like a mini Synchro. Cool little old school kite.
