One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hey guys I was hoping you could help me out.  A friend pulled out an old stunt kite...the Noname.  I know I've heard you guys talk about it before when discussing "old school" kites.  What's the story on this kite and should I try to snag it from him to give it a go in order to experience some true old timey kite flying?

Thanks,
P

I fully appreciate the ability of trees to attract kites. They have special powers that way.

NoNaMe by Action Kites. 'Bout 20 years old, no standoffs (probably), nylon 'n' glassfibre. There's retro and there's just plain old.

I heard that the name came about because they could come with "no name" when designing the packaging.

I would love to pick one up to add to my old skool collection.

I've got a 3-stack already trained as well, not particularly attached to it.

You guys are killing my kite budget

I have purchased 14 kites in the last 2 weeks, the UPS driver is getting tired of coming to the house with those long boxes.

8 - Triblys
1 - Chicago Fire Bee
1 - MEFM
4 - No Na Me

 Smiley
Just looking around and found this thread.
The NoNaMe was my first kite! I picked one up when I was living in Hawaii.
Fun and fast turning.
I just picked one up from Charly!
Good memories!
