Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The original one was purchase about 2+ years ago, but I never received it.  It was shipped from the UK in #10 envelope (things that make you go "What were you thinking?!?!").  I received the envelope with the appropriate size hole in it.  The pin itself had probably fallen to the floor near some sorting machine or into the gears.

Have been looking for another one to turn up and one finally did.  It was actually part of a lot of 3 pins.  I believe the pins were produced some time ago by the United Biscut Company (UK) for their McVitie's brand which produced several sub-brands of "Penguin" biscuts.  Each of the biscut wrappers had a fun penguin fact on the outside.

The other pins have the Penguin 1) on skis and 2) flying an airplane.  Sadly this is the first and only time I have seen this pin come up since the original purchase (2+ years ago).  I have been carefully waiting and looking.  Sorry.... if you want, I can give you a heads up if I run across another.

Of course, I haven't seen you since the wedding Huh and you keep heading out of town.  If you would stick around long enough to collect your Christmas present from last year  Tongue, you might just find a suitable consolation gift (1 of only 100 in the world, even).  Roll Eyes

I am just going to have to break down and mail you your presents, aren't I?!?!  Cheesy
