I have flown mine in winds up around 10mph and it has done superbly....as long as the wind is clean the wings just bow backwards and the kite forms a DEEP keel that keeps it quite stable.....
granted..it is designed for xUL wind flying.....
flat spins are easy and it is a slow glider that is easily recoverable.
a video i shot last spring:
on clean low wind days i put it up around 150-200' and just let it soar!
because it is about 5' wide it has more of a presence in teh sky then you would imagine!
