Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Had to try out an alien yesterday in the crazy winds.  Sheer chaos, somewhat controlled  Cheesy. SUrprisingly my cody pro/ pop can chain held up.

Hey Anthony...
Cool flying spot. Not so cool winds, though. I always thought of the Alien as flying comedy, it's been the source of laughter many times for me after those 'what the hell was that ?' moments. Also seemingly indestructable.

That was the first time I've flown one and it tracks surprisingly well for the design.  Another guy at the park had a  micron and they were almost equal in speed.  I'll have to play with it some more and see what all I can get out of it.

Was just going some back-reading and got to wondering how your umbrella shelter-thing held up in this wind?
