Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Mt old boss did something to her computer again.. she is in her 70's, I keep telling her not to click on "free" anything  but..

So I need to set a restore point, I am not familiar with Vista.. Would one of you please tell me how to do this? I had to do it for her a year ago but I can't remember how now.

Thanks so much...

  • Click "Start Menu"
  • Click "All Programs"
  • Click "Accessories"
  • Click "System Tools"
  • Click "System Restore"
  • This will bring up the dialong to restore using one of the recommended Restore Point, an alternate restore point, or to create a new restore point.

FWIW: You don't need to set a restore point, as it sounds like the cow is alread out of the barn.  You need to fall back to an existing one that you know is "safe".
