One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Sometime in the last year I received an AB+ Std, framed in 5PTs from skb in a trade. Really nice kite but one of my first thoughts was "I bet I'd like a 3PT version even better"

Along comes Larry this week with a whole set of the things! I wish I could have bought the whole shebang, but I didn't really need the vented, I have too many SULs in general and I had an identical standard! The UL is the best looking of the bunch too (IMHO). So it showed up yesterday needing a bit of sprucing up, but in very good shape overall. These are some well made kites!

I do like the UL better than the Std., but they are both really nice. They fit in a group of late '90s "freestyle" kites like the Outerspace and Illusion. Curved LEs, Active Bridle, etc. One of the things that sets the AB+ apart from it's peers is it's relatively slow forward speed. For a kite that's pretty small, it's very stable.  Very well balanced for a lot of the tricks of the era.

Thanks Larry and skb!
