Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi all,

Is there Atomic Wedgee Vented (Big Easy Kites - Ray Bordelon) owners on the GWTW forum ?

I need your help please.

The Upper Spreader of my kite has two parts of ø .156" (4 mm) solid carbon. These two parts are joined in the center with a little vinyl tubing. There is a C-clip on both sides of the US.

I don't understand how it works because the Upper Spreader is bent. Have a look on the pictures please.

Is that normal ?

Many thanks in advance.  Wink

P.S. : wich frame has this kite ? It's not written on the Lower spreaders. I know that the AW Standard frame is Avia G-Force Skinny SDS.

Just about every one of those I have seen is the same way.  ITs possible your upper leading edge fittings have slipped down a bit  but if it flies ok then I'd say leave it alone.  Hopefully someone with more than  "borrow the lines" time on one will chime in for you.
