Hello, my name is Bob, and I'm a kite flyer.
I have been flying kites since I was 10 years old. my father and I would make large Eddys from bamboo and the sunday funnypapers on the weekends when he was home. Now I make mostly Rocks and box kites, Cody's and Hargrave's. I love stunt kites both 2 and 4 line but now days have the most fun with Dale's Black feather Patangs and Randy Shannon's Ckadas.
Here on the Colorado River we get wind almost every day.

I'll be in Lake Havasu for the Winterblast soon. I fly kites on the baseball diamonds in the afternoon. Perhaps we can meet up. Nice photos by the way and the Rok is stunning.  |

I have 4 kite bags full of kites and those are only the ones I drag around in my car .... You are singing to the choir. The last one to put me in the dog house was an Eggplant Zephyr. Thanks to all for the welcomes, but I can't seem to discover how to navigate your Forums. Example: I read that Karen has a Pfaff machine for sale but can't even find a member Karen in the members list or a place where this post might be....? I guess I am just too old for the interwebs. |

I love box kites as well, including two Cody's. I have not made any thought.  Would love to see yours sometime. Maybe some time you could join our Friday fun fly in Las Vegas. You would be a great addition. |
