One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

After months of waiting, the wind finally decided to blow at a decent speed on the weekend. Actually, I didn't get out early enough for the 5mph winds, I got to enjoy only an hour of that before it died down to this. I'll take it... so much better than running down the beach trying to bang out a couple of tricks.

I had a good amount of fun with this, so I figured I'd share. I shot this on feb. 5th, and I'm still smiling about it...
So, if you have 5 minutes to waste, click the HD link, full screen it, get your sound on, and enjoy flying in New York in February without getting cold !

Nice video.  The weather here in NE has been pretty mild this winter.  Sluggo and I went out flying in mid-January with just long sleeve shirts.  Crazy.  This weekend might get up to 50.

Nice smooth flying Rob! you've got some very flat 540s, liked the tip stands and your usual slides too.
Is this VF material? I hope so.

Regards,

Gerardo.

Hey Danno... yeah, I really like the way the Tattoo does certain things. The deep turtle is a little extreme, though, as you can see, I get it stuck on it's back if I let it go too far. The winds were a little low when this was filmed, I could've used another MPH or so.

The temps haven't been too bad, but the wind has been too high since the fall. I've been stuck flying the vented Rev a lot of the times I've gotten a chance to get out and fly. This weekend should be good, as long as the winds stay in the single digits...

Thanks, G. You won't see the Fearless in the VF contest, I'm trying to get together some footage of the Seven that I got the discount on from the VF18 prize. I'll be in this VF one way or another !

You know I am a Fan... Been watching a few times.  Weather is un-real.  Two days ago I found Tulips and Lillies of the valley popping out of the ground.  Usually don't see them until late March... Lent is Wednesday..with Easter some fifty days away.. Global warming is real.   Lake is still not frozen nor will it be this year.  Fine by me.  One thing Rob No flying over water...Too Cold Huh  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Yepper's crash in that water and it's freeze time.

Just got my "Ebay" prize the other day.  I got a Honda 1000ui generator used for $424.00 I am happy.  Gonna run outside sound system when I fly.  Sony 600W amp and speakers.  This is going to be fun.
